A New Girard-Perregaux Watch to Commemorate Its 220th Anniversary

To commemorate its 220th anniversary, the house of Girard-Perregaux again profoundly introduced its new and elegant 1966 Blue Dial Chronograph watch. It is said that this new case is an animation of the original 1966 Chronograph presented in 2009, and has the same function; however, it is featured with a new, even more elegant color scheme.
Paired with a 40mm white gold case , the main dial is decorated with an ice-cold deep blue “sunray” brushed pattern and it also boasts snailed chronograph counters which add a touch of more modern and refreshing look. There are the sub-dials which are snailed engraved, ensuring a perfect level of readability. This new Girard-Perregaux watch is completed with an anti-reflective sapphire crystal and is designed to be water-resistant capable of enduring a rate of 30 meters.
In the zone of 2 and 4 o’clock, there is traditionally arranged a pair of chronograph push-pieces, which is matched with a relatively small winding crown.
